Frances Jeter is one beloved grandma, better known as "Ma" to her grandkids. We managed to corral all but one for an informal family portrait the other day. Talk about fun! And Frances always seems to be saying from the center of the whirlwind:
I plan to be around awhile,
companion to you as your growth and joy
in this life of trusting God continues.
Philippians 1:25 MESSAGE

You know (hint, hint) Mother's Day is a great excuse to give a portrait session gift certificate to YOUR mom -- or ask for one for yourself! Just contact me at 979.849.4536 or LaurieHeath@sbcglobal.net and we'll get everybody taken care of.

Does everyone wish for a twin at some point in their childhood, or am I the only one? I remember reading a book called Mitch and Amy long ago that planted that dream in my head.

Anyway, Ashley and Justin are EXACTLY the way I always imagined a twin brother and I would be: close, fun-loving best friends who don't need many words to understand each other. Thanks for letting me step into your world for a little while, you two -- and thanks for being The Best Sports Ever!

How wonderful, how beautiful,
when brothers and sisters get along!
Psalm 133:1 MESSAGE

I know that my faithful readers noticed that my last post mentioned FOUR senior portrait sessions in the past week, but I only offered sneak peeks of two of them. That's because Seth and Eric are larger-than-life, epic personalities, as these photos make clear:

Take a good look at me, God, my God;

I want to look life in the eye.

Psalm 13:3 MESSAGE

The busy-ness just keeps getting busy-er and busy-er!
Over the past week I've taken photos of a foreign ambassador, a national award winner, a new physical therapist and four graduating seniors. PLUS I've had the pleasure of designing several sets of graduation announcements with more to come, AND I'll be spending the day at the Wilderness Golf Course on Friday taking pics of ADMC golf tournament teams and winners.
I hope this helps you all understand why you must not set foot inside my house under any circumstances!
Here are a couple of my favorite shots of Sara Janda, Angleton's newest physical therapist. Her office is located at the Wellness Center near the hospital, and she's ready to help when you need her:

Let the loveliness of our Lord, our God, rest on us,
confirming the work that we do.
Oh, yes. Affirm the work that we do!
Psalm 90:17 MESSAGE

I can't show you the ambassador or award-winner, but here are Harrison and Suyuri, two seniors who are already making names for themselves!

Every word You give me is a miracle word --

how could I help but obey?

Break open Your words, let the light shine out,

let ordinary people see the meaning.

Psalm 119:129-130 MESSAGE
