I made a new friend this week! Emma Jean and I were already connected, thanks to her grandson and my daughter, but we had never gotten to know one another. I'm so glad you called me for new publicity shots, Emma Jean -- now I can admire you from up close rather than from afar! Make a careful exploration of who you are and the work you have been given, and then sink yourself into that. Don't be impressed with yourself. Don't compare yourself with others. Each of you must take responsibility for doing the creative best you can with your own life.
